Each week, students explore painting, drawing, mixed media, printmaking, sculpture, and art history.
In this camp, they dive into colour, texture, and imagination using acrylics, watercolours, ink, oil pastels, clay, and more!

Artistic Exploration
$200/4 Days
August 6th–9th (4 days)
9:30am–12:30pm

Painting: Students will delve into the world of acrylic painting, exploring colour theory and brush techniques to create vibrant landscapes or abstract compositions.
Drawing: From still life studies to imaginative sketches, students will hone their drawing skills using graphite, charcoal, and ink.
Mixed Media: Unleashing their creativity, students will experiment with a variety of materials, including paper, fabric, and found objects, to construct unique mixed media artworks that combine texture, colour, and form.
Art History: Journey back in time to explore the works of renowned artists such as Vincent van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, and Leonardo da Vinci. Students will learn about different art movements and styles, gaining inspiration for their own artistic endeavours.

Nature’s Palette

August 19th–23rd (5 days)

Painting #1: Inspired by the beauty of nature, students will create lush landscapes using acrylic paints.
Painting #2: Inspired by the beauty of nature, students will create intricate botanical studies using watercolours or tempera paints.
Drawing: From detailed botanical illustrations to expressive animal sketches, students will capture the wonders of the natural world using various drawing techniques.
Mixed Media: Students will incorporate natural materials such as leaves, twigs, and feathers into their artwork, creating textured mixed media pieces that celebrate the beauty of the great outdoors.
Art History: Explore the rich tradition of landscape painting and nature-inspired art, studying works by artists like Claude Monet, Georgia O'Keeffe, and John James Audubon.

Fantasy & Imagination
$250/5 Days
August 26th–30th (5 days)
9:30am–12:30pm

Painting #1: Students will let their imagination run wild as they create fantastical scenes or whimsical characters using acrylics and watercolours.
Painting #2: Building on their exploration of the elements, students will venture into the realm of fantasy and imagination with surreal landscape paintings. They'll experiment with scale, perspective, and colour to create otherworldly landscapes filled with wonder and intrigue.
Drawing: From mythical creatures to dreamy landscapes, campers will bring their imagination to life on paper, exploring narrative and storytelling through drawing.
Mixed Media: Combining elements of fantasy and reality, campers will create mixed media artworks that blend imagination with everyday objects, creating surreal and magical compositions.
Art History: Journey into the realm of fantasy art, studying the works of artists like Hieronymus Bosch, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Hayao Miyazaki, and exploring the power of storytelling in visual art.

Summer Camp Registration
Registration for our summer camps begins on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at 10:00AM, and can be completed by filling out the form below.
Registration for the summer camp will be on a first-come, first-served basis. To finalize the registration for summer camp, the registration form and the camp fee must be submitted.

Our Summer Camp is a half-day program, running from 9:30am–12:30pm.

Although aprons are used, we cannot guarantee students’ clothing will be free from paint. We recommend students wear comfortable clothing that they are ok getting dirty.

We provide all the supplies for the camp, and the cost is included in the fee.

Each day students will have a 15 minute recess. Students will need to bring their own snacks and water bottle during this time. Please make sure all snacks are nut-free.

Drop-off occurs between 9:15-9:30AM. Due to limited space, please do not park on the driveway. There is plenty of parking along the street.

Camp pick-up occurs at 12:30pm. Please make sure to pick up your child no later than 12:45 pm.

You can receive a full refund if you cancel at least 7 days before the class starts. For cancellations within 7 days, a partial refund will be provided (registration fee - $50).
